Meet the Maker

Hi! I am the mother of 3 and the creative owner of Happy Makers Studio a beautiful little space in Somis, Ca. where I guide mini makers on a new creative journey.

I started my sewing adventure after receiving a sewing machine for my 14th birthday. With a new creative outlet I began teaching myself to sew all things! By 18 I decided sewing and designing is where my passion lied and began attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. This is where I learned proper techniques, textiles, and the art of fashion. I’ve worked in the fashion industry for over a decade and along the way realized that my dream was to encourage and teach young minds to use their creativity through crafting and sewing. Now, when I am not teaching I am busy coming up with a million and one projects for my kids sewing classes and designing quilt kits.

I want your child to have the best and most creative experience in the studio! If you have any questions or would like to enroll your child in one of my classes please feel free to give me a call or send me an email,

There is a Japanese concept I have come to love especially while teaching your kiddos. It is called the Wabi-Sabi method. Where imperfections make unique characteristics and practice will always make progress.
